Recovering from an early collapse, India posted 252, led by Vedant Trivedi’s composed 68 and valuable lower-order contributions. Pakistan’s chase faltered after a promising start, with Usman Khan’s resistance ending as a dramatic collapse followed, losing eight wickets for 43 runs. Ayush Mhatre and Khilan Patel starred with the ball as Pakistan were bowled out for 194.
The victory ensured India topped their Super Sixes group and reaffirmed their dominance in age-group World Cup cricket.
