Kane Russell continued his sensational form, scoring a brilliant hat-trick as HIL GC defeated Accord Tamil Nadu Dragons 4-2 in Ranchi.
Russell struck in the 14th, 33rd and 47th minutes, while Sam Ward added another goal. Blake Govers and Uttam Singh scored for the Dragons, who created numerous chances but struggled with finishing. Strong defensive work and key saves from James Mazarelo helped HIL GC secure the win. The victory sent HIL GC to the top of the table with 10 points, while the Dragons suffered their first defeat of the season.
