Jaiswal’s Blitz Powers RR to Big Win Over MI in Rain-Shortened Clash

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s explosive 77 not out off 32 balls powered Rajasthan Royals to a commanding 27-run win over Mumbai Indians in a rain-shortened IPL 2026 clash.

In an 11-overs-a-side contest, RR posted a daunting 150/3, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi contributing a rapid 39 in an 80-run opening stand. In reply, Mumbai crumbled under pressure, losing key wickets early and slipping to 46/5 inside five overs. Despite late resistance, they managed only 123/9. Rajasthan’s bowlers maintained control with disciplined efforts.

The victory marked RR’s third consecutive win, taking them to the top of the points table, while MI slumped to their second straight defeat.
