ISL 2025-26: Chennaiyin FC Fall Short Despite Late Goal Against Inter Kashi

Chennaiyin FC suffered a narrow defeat to Inter Kashi despite a late goal from Daniel Chima Chukwu in their ISL clash.

After a competitive first half, where Chennaiyin created multiple chances but failed to convert, Inter Kashi seized control early in the second half. Alfred Planas struck twice in quick succession to put the hosts in command. Chennaiyin pushed hard to respond, with Farukh Choudhary and Inigo Martin leading the attack, but lacked the finishing touch. Chukwu’s late goal offered hope, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.

Chennaiyin will now aim to bounce back in their upcoming fixture against East Bengal.
