Tom Boon’s Five-Goal Blitz Powers Ranchi Royals to Big HIL Win

Captain Tom Boon produced a sensational five-goal performance as Ranchi Royals stormed to a commanding 6-2 victory over SG Pipers in the Men’s Hockey India League in Ranchi.

Mandeep Singh opened the scoring before Boon took charge, converting a penalty stroke and four penalty corners to overwhelm the visitors. SG Pipers showed resilience through goals from Tomas Domene and Gareth Furlong, briefly drawing level in the third quarter. However, Boon’s quick-fire brace swung momentum decisively in the Royals’ favour.

The hosts maintained relentless attacking pressure and sealed an emphatic win, underlining their firepower and climbing to fourth on the points table.
