Hendrickx’s Lone Goal Keeps Vedanta Kalinga Lancers Unbeaten in HIL

Alexander Hendrickx’s solitary goal proved decisive as Vedanta Kalinga Lancers continued their unbeaten run with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hyderabad Toofans in the Men’s Hockey India League in Ranchi.

The opening half was evenly contested, with both sides creating chances but failing to break the deadlock. Hyderabad enjoyed greater possession and circle entries, yet the Lancers looked more dangerous on the counter. Hendrickx finally made the breakthrough to put his side ahead.

In the final quarter, the Lancers defended resolutely and countered efficiently, denying the Toofans any late chances to secure a disciplined victory.
