Bavuma Targets Historic Test Win in India,
Proteas Test captain Temba Bavuma is set to return from injury as South Africa prepare for a challenging Test series in India. In an interview to SportsBoom, the 35-year-old said his side aims to secure their first Test win in India in over a decade.
Acknowledging the testing subcontinent conditions, Bavuma expects spin and reverse swing to play major roles but insists that “no team is unbeatable.” Citing New Zealand’s recent success, he stressed the need for fearless batting, disciplined bowling, and sharp fielding as South Africa look to “rectify past results and do things right this time.”
