SunRisers Leeds Women began their The Hundred 2026 title defence with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over MI London Women at The Kia Oval.
Chasing 108, Phoebe Litchfield starred with 43 off 26 balls, while Annabel Sutherland remained unbeaten on 30 to guide SunRisers home with 31 balls to spare. Earlier, MI London Women were restricted to 107/8 despite a 57-run opening stand between Hayley Matthews (33) and Danni Wyatt-Hodge (29). Dani Gibson, Deepti Sharma and Hannah Baker impressed with two wickets each to derail the innings.
The only concern for SunRisers was Kate Cross, who suffered a shoulder injury during the match.
