MI London Beat SunRisers Leeds by 7 Wickets in The Hundred 2026 Opener
MI London kicked off their quest for a fourth consecutive Hundred title with a convincing seven-wicket victory over SunRisers Leeds at The Kia Oval.
Chasing 144, MI London recovered from an early wobble after David Carse dismissed Will Jacks and Jason Roy. James Vince also fell to Nathan Ellis, but Nicholas Pooran and Sam Curran turned the game around with a blistering partnership. Curran smashed a 34-ball half-century, while Pooran reached his fifty in just 19 deliveries as the duo shared a match-winning stand filled with boundaries and sixes.
Earlier, Tom Alsop’s 31 off 18 helped SunRisers Leeds post a competitive total, but it proved insufficient against MI London’s powerful batting.
