South Africa Thrash Pakistan by 55 Runs in 1st T20I

Under-strength South Africa outclassed Pakistan by 55 runs in the first T20I at Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

Despite missing seven frontline players, the Proteas posted 194/9, led by Reeza Hendricks’ 60 off 40 balls. Corbin Bosch (4/14) and George Linde (3/31) then bowled brilliantly to dismiss Pakistan for 139 in 18.1 overs. Saim Ayub (37) and Mohammad Nawaz (36) fought briefly, but Pakistan’s chase never took off.

Earlier, Hendricks and Quinton de Kock gave South Africa a fiery start, while Linde’s late burst lifted them to a match-winning total. The visitors now lead the three-match series 1–0.
