New Zealand clinched the three-match ODI series against England with a commanding five-wicket victory in the second ODI, taking an unassailable 2–0 lead. After bowling England out for just 175 in 36 overs, thanks to Blair Tickner’s impressive 4/38 on his return, the hosts chased the target with ease.
Despite losing Will Young early, Rachin Ravindra (42) and Daryl Mitchell (57*) guided the Black Caps home through composed partnerships.
England’s batting faltered again, with only Jamie Overton (42) and Harry Brook (34) offering resistance. With this win, New Zealand sealed the series and will look to complete a clean sweep in the final ODI.
