Sikandar Raza Praises India, Admits Zimbabwe Need to Improve

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza praised India’s batting quality after his side suffered a 90-run defeat in the second T20I at Harare, conceding the visitors displayed superior skill.

Powered by half-centuries from Ishan Kishan (81) and Tilak Varma (60*), India posted 219/5 before bowling Zimbabwe out for 129 to seal the three-match series 2-0. Raza credited the Indian batters for their outstanding shot-making and singled out Kishan for his consistency at No. 3. He also admitted Zimbabwe need significant improvement in fielding to better support the bowlers.

Taking responsibility for the loss, Raza acknowledged his poor batting form in the series and said the team desperately needs his runs, vowing to bounce back in the final T20I.
