India sealed the three-match T20I series with an emphatic 90-run victory over Zimbabwe in the second T20I at Harare Sports Club. After being asked to bat,

Ishan Kishan smashed 81 off 44 balls while Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 60 off just 29 deliveries to power India to 219/5. In reply, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs despite Brian Bennett’s 32. Left-arm spinner Abhishek Sharma starred with the ball, claiming 3-17, while Prince Yadav picked up two wickets before leaving the field with a hamstring injury.

The comprehensive win also handed Shreyas Iyer his first T20I series triumph as India’s captain, giving the visitors an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
