From Doubt to Glory: Samson Delivers His Best Innings on the Big Stage

Sanju Samson’s 97* Seals India’s Semi-Final Spot | T20 World Cup

For Sanju Samson, redemption arrived on the grandest stage as his unbeaten 97 powered India beat West Indies at Eden Gardens.

Named Player of the Match, Samson called it “one of the greatest days” of his life, reflecting on years of self-doubt and learning from greats like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Chasing 195 in a virtual quarterfinal, he balanced aggression with composure as wickets fell.

His defining knock sealed a semifinal clash against England cricket team at Wankhede Stadium, keeping India’s title defence firmly on track.
