Berrington to Lead Scotland at T20 World Cup
Scotland have named Richie Berrington as captain of their 15-man squad for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, retaining 11 players from the 2024 campaign.
The selection marks the first squad named by new head coach Owen Dawkins. Afghanistan-born pacer Zainullah Ihsan earned his maiden call-up, while Tom Bruce, Finlay McCreath and Oliver Davidson will make their World Cup debuts. Scotland were handed a late entry after Bangladesh declined to tour India, with the ICC inviting the world No.14 side.
Drawn in Group C, Scotland will face West Indies, Italy, England and Nepal as they aim to progress beyond the group stage.
