MI Survive Richa Storm in WPL Thriller

Mumbai Indians edged out Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 15 runs in a dramatic WPL 2026 clash in Vadodara, surviving a sensational late assault from Richa Ghosh.

Chasing 200, RCB slumped to 35/5 before Richa smashed a breathtaking 90 off 50 balls, taking the game deep. Earlier, Nat Sciver-Brunt created history by scoring the first-ever century in WPL, finishing unbeaten on 100 to power MI to 199/4 alongside Hayley Matthews’ 56. Hayley and Shabnim Ismail then ripped through RCB’s top order.

Despite Richa’s heroics, MI held their nerve to keep playoff hopes alive and move back to second on the points table.
