Faheem Ashraf (4-23) and Salman Mirza (3-14) produced career-best spells as Pakistan crushed South Africa by nine wickets in the second T20I at Lahore on Friday, leveling the series 1-1. South Africa were bundled out for just 110, with Dewald Brevis top-scoring with 25.
Pakistan chased the target comfortably, led by Saim Ayub’s unbeaten 71 off 38 balls featuring six fours and five sixes. Skipper Babar Azam remained not out on 11 and surpassed Rohit Sharma to become the highest run-scorer in T20 internationals.
The series decider will be played on Saturday at the same venue.
