Parthib Gogoi’s late strike seals dramatic win for NorthEast United
NorthEast United FC registered a thrilling 3-2 win over Inter Kashi in the ISL 2025-26 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
Jithin MS gave the Highlanders the lead in first-half stoppage time before Andy Rodríguez doubled it from the penalty spot after Wayne Vaz’s red card. Despite being reduced to 10 men, Inter Kashi fought back bravely as Sergio Llamas scored from a free-kick and Mohammed Asif equalised late in the second half. Just when the match looked headed for a draw, Parthib Gogoi struck the decisive winner in the dying moments to seal all three points.
The win lifts NorthEast United to 10th in the standings with 10 points from 11 matches.
