Chennai Super Kings delivered a commanding all-round performance to defeat Mumbai Indians by eight wickets in their IPL 2026 clash at Chepauk.

After restricting MI to 159/7, thanks to impressive spells from Anshul Kamboj (3/32) and Noor Ahmad (2/26), CSK chased down the target in 18.1 overs. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored the innings with an unbeaten 67 off 48 balls, while youngster Kartik Sharma smashed his maiden IPL fifty with an unbeaten 54. Their 98-run partnership ensured CSK’s biggest-ever win over MI and completed a league double over their arch-rivals for the third time in IPL history.
