Nat Sciver-Brunt Admits Australia Outplayed England in Women's T20 World Cup Final
Nat Sciver-Brunt admitted England were outplayed by an experienced Australian side after their seven-wicket defeat in the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final at Lord’s.
The England captain scored an unbeaten 58 to help her side post 150/4 but acknowledged the total was below par on a challenging surface. Sciver-Brunt also praised Player of the Match Beth Mooney, whose match-winning 64 guided Australia to a record-extending seventh title.
Despite the disappointment, Sciver-Brunt expressed pride in England’s campaign after finishing runners-up with several standout performances throughout the tournament.
