Earlier, KKR bowlers dominated the contest as Cameron Green and Saurabh Dubey dismantled Mumbai’s top order, reducing them to 46/4 in the Power-play. Sunil Narine further tightened the grip with an economical spell, while Corbin Bosch’s unbeaten 32 helped MI recover to 147/8.

Jasprit Bumrah briefly revived Mumbai’s hopes with crucial wickets, but KKR held their nerve in the chase. Rinku Singh sealed the win with a boundary as Kolkata stayed firmly in the playoff race.
