Jadumani Singh Beats Aaron Cullen, Enters Round of 16
India’s Jadumani Singh Mandengbam made a commanding start to his Commonwealth Games 2026 boxing campaign with a dominant 5-0 unanimous decision victory over Scotland’s Aaron Cullen in the men’s 55kg Round of 32 in Glasgow.
Jadumani controlled the bout from start to finish, earning identical 30-27 scorelines from all five judges with his sharp attacks, accurate punches and disciplined defence. Despite strong home support, Cullen struggled to cope with the Indian boxer’s pace and ring control. The impressive win sends Jadumani into the Round of 16, where he will face Pakistan’s Rehman on July 26 for a place in the quarterfinals.
His convincing performance gives India a positive start in the boxing competition at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
