Ishant Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal Launch AQUON Hydration Drink for Everyday Fitness

Indian cricketers Ishant Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal have launched AQUON, a daily hydration drink developed to support hydration and electrolyte balance for everyday consumers as well as sportspersons.

AQUON is marketed by Delhi-based Kiyas Lab Private Limited, a DPIIT-recognised startup, and is manufactured at Sapiens Labs in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The product will initially be available through the brand’s direct-to-consumer website.

The brand offers hydration sachets containing five electrolytes—sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and chloride—along with eight essential vitamins, 500 mg of taurine and 10 kcal per serving. Each sachet can be mixed with 300 ml, 450 ml or 600 ml of water, based on consumer preference.

The product is available in four flavours: Strawberry Watermelon, Exotic Blueberry, Lemon Lime and Tropical Punch.

Speaking about the launch, Yuzvendra Chahal said, “There was no such thing as the right time. We had been thinking about building a business for a long time. When we decided to move ahead, we came up with this product.”

Sharing the vision behind the brand, Ishant Sharma said, “We are not targeting any specific audience. We believe anyone can have this drink, whether they are a sportsperson or not. It contains electrolytes and a limited amount of sugar. When you take electrolytes, your sugar level can drop, so a small amount of sugar helps provide instant energy.”

He added, “Our focus is to build a product that people use. We want to help people stay hydrated and support those who experience cramps or have low electrolyte levels.”

AQUON enters India’s growing hydration category, where consumers are looking for products that support daily hydration. The category includes oral rehydration products, sports drinks and hydration supplements from pharmaceutical companies, beverage brands and digital-first startups.

The product is available at ₹299 for a pack of six sachets, ₹399 for an eight-sachet variety pack and ₹1,080 for a pack of 24 sachets.
