Jurel’s Tactical Call Helps RR Seal Thriller, Reveals Parag

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag credited Dhruv Jurel for a crucial tactical decision during their six-run win over Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026.

With the game on the line, Jurel suggested giving Jofra Archer the 19th over, a move that proved decisive. Archer’s pace and accuracy restricted the flow of runs, leaving GT with 11 to get in the final over. Tushar Deshpande then delivered a clutch performance, sealing the win with a brilliant final over.

Parag praised his team’s execution under pressure, while Jurel also starred with the bat, playing a key role in helping Rajasthan post a competitive 210/6 in Ahmedabad.
