IPL 2026: Deshpande Holds Nerve as RR Edge GT in Last-Over Thriller

Rajasthan Royals clinched a thrilling six-run win over Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026, thanks to Tushar Deshpande’s brilliant final over.

Defending 210, RR looked in control after Ravi Bishnoi’s four-wicket haul derailed GT’s chase despite Sai Sudharsan’s fluent 73. However, a late assault from Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada brought the equation down to 11 off the final over. Deshpande held his nerve under pressure, conceding just four runs and taking a crucial wicket to seal the win.

Earlier, Dhruv Jurel’s 75 and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 55 powered RR to a strong total, helping them secure a nail-biting victory in Ahmedabad.
