Women's World Cup 2025 Australia vs England
Australia Women continued their dominant run in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, beating England by six wickets in Indore.
Chasing 245, Australia slipped to 68-4 before Annabel Sutherland (98*) and Ashleigh Gardner (104*) stitched a record 180-run unbeaten stand to seal victory in 40.3 overs.
Earlier, Sutherland’s 3-60 restricted England to 244-9 despite Tammy Beaumont’s 78. Gardner hit the winning boundary to hand England their first defeat of the tournament. The win, Australia’s fifth in six games, keeps them unbeaten and on top of the table, with Sutherland earning Player of the Match honours for her all-round brilliance.
