The 28-year-old produced a sensational finishing kick in the final lap to clock 27:49.78 and finish behind Australia’s Ky Robinson (27:48.93), while Isle of Man’s David Mullarkey took bronze in 27:50.28. Gulveer stayed with the leading pack before launching a remarkable late surge to secure his maiden Commonwealth Games medal.
The silver adds to his growing list of achievements, including Asian Games bronze and double gold at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships, further cementing his status as India’s premier long-distance runner.
