The New York Knicks produced a sensational comeback to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-104 in overtime in Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Monday.

Trailing by 22 points in the fourth quarter, the Knicks rallied brilliantly behind Jalen Brunson, who scored 38 points and forced overtime with a clutch floater in the final seconds. New York outscored Cleveland 14-5 in overtime to complete the dramatic turnaround at Madison Square Garden. Mikal Bridges added 18 points, while OG Anunoby contributed 13 on his return from injury. Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 29 points, but the Cavaliers collapsed late after dominating most of the game.

The Knicks now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and moved a step closer to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.
