Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill admitted costly fielding errors played a decisive role after Kolkata Knight Riders ended GT’s five-match winning streak with a 29-run win at Eden Gardens in IPL 2026.
GT dropped Finn Allen twice, allowing the explosive opener to smash 93 and help KKR post a massive 247/2. Gill said his side “didn’t deserve to win” after missing three sitters despite batting well in the chase. KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane praised Finn Allen, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green for their aggressive batting display, while also lauding Sunil Narine and Saurabh Dubey for their bowling efforts.
