Detroit Pistons made a winning start to their Eastern Conference semi-final series, defeating Cleveland Cavaliers 111-101 in Game 1 at Little Caesars Arena.

Cade Cunningham led the way with 23 points as six Pistons players finished in double figures. Tobias Harris added 20 points, while Duncan Robinson chipped in 19 with five three-pointers.

The Cavaliers fought back from 17 points down to cut the deficit to four, but Detroit regained control late in the fourth quarter. Donovan Mitchell scored 23 points for Cleveland in the losing effort.
