Bevon Jacobs smashed an unbeaten 62 to guide New Zealand to a six-wicket win over Bangladesh in the rain-hit third T20I in Dhaka, levelling the series 1-1.
Chasing a revised target of 103 in 15 overs, New Zealand were in trouble at 33/4 before Jacobs and Dean Foxcroft stitched an unbeaten 71-run stand to seal victory in 11.4 overs. Jacobs struck five fours and three sixes in his 31-ball knock.
Earlier, New Zealand bowled Bangladesh out for 102, with Josh Clarkson taking 3/9. Ish Sodhi also became New Zealand’s highest T20I wicket-taker with 165 scalps.
