Chennaiyin FC registered a narrow 1-0 win over Sporting Club Delhi in their ISL 2025-26 clash in Chennai, thanks to an early goal from Farukh Choudhary.
The forward struck in the 11th minute with a superb left-footed finish after being set up by Alberto Noguera. Chennaiyin dominated early proceedings, while SC Delhi struggled to break through a disciplined defence. Despite a spirited second-half effort and late pressure, the visitors failed to find an equaliser. Alex Saji impressed at the back for SC Delhi, but his efforts went in vain.
The victory lifts Chennaiyin to 10th place, while SC Delhi remain ninth in the standings.
