Rishabh Pant held his nerve to guide Lucknow Super Giants to a thrilling five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026.
Chasing 157, LSG were in control before SRH’s late fightback pushed the game into the final over. Pant sealed the victory with a boundary off the penultimate ball, remaining unbeaten on 68. Earlier, Heinrich Klaasen (62) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (56) rescued SRH from 35/4 with a superb 116-run stand, helping them post 156/9.
Lucknow’s bowlers, led by Mohammed Shami, had done early damage. Despite late wickets, Pant’s composure ensured LSG registered their first win of the season.
