India U20 finished as Group B toppers after a 1-1 draw against Bangladesh in the SAFF U20 Championship 2026.
Vishal Yadav gave India an early lead with a 17th-minute header from Omang Dodum’s corner, but Bangladesh equalised in stoppage time through Md Abdul Riyad Fahim. The result ensured India’s place at the top, having earlier defeated Pakistan 3-0. Mahesh Gawali’s side will now face Bhutan in the semi-finals, while Bangladesh take on Nepal. India dominated possession and created several chances but couldn’t find a winner.
Despite the late setback, the Blue Colts showed composure and will head into the knockout stage with confidence.
