Seamer Arundhati Reddy claimed a career-best 4-22 to guide India to a 21-run DLS victory over Australia in the series opener at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Australia were bowled out for 133 in 18 overs despite starts from Georgia Wareham and Phoebe Litchfield. In reply, India stormed to 50/1 in 5.1 overs, powered by Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana, before rain halted play.
With no further action possible, India were declared winners via the DLS method, taking a 2-0 lead in the multi-format series.
