Italy Makes History,Mosca Brothers Lead 10-Wicket T20 World Cup Win Over Nepal

Italy clinched a historic first T20 World Cup victory with a dominant 10-wicket win over Nepal at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Spinners Crishan Kalugamage (3-18) and Ben Manenti (2-9) bowled Nepal out for 123 in 19.3 overs after they collapsed from 93-3. In reply, brothers Justin Mosca (60) and Anthony Mosca (62) powered Italy to the target with 44 balls remaining, smashing eight fours and nine sixes.

Italy, tournament debutants and lowest-ranked side, rebounded from an opening loss to Scotland despite missing injured captain Wayne Madsen. The victory lifted them to third in Group C standings.
