World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka eased into the third round of the Australian Open with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 win over Chinese qualifier Bai Zhuoxuan in Melbourne.
The two-time champion needed just over an hour to seal her seventh straight win of 2026 and her sixth consecutive third-round appearance at Melbourne Park. Sabalenka’s victory marked her 25th singles win as world No.1, placing her among an elite group in the Open Era.
Despite brief resistance from Bai, Sabalenka’s power and consistency proved decisive as she stayed firmly on course for another deep run.
