Ranchi Royals edged out HIL GC 4-1 in a shootout after an action-packed 4-4 draw in a thrilling Men’s Hockey India League clash at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium on Monday.
Araijeet Singh Hundal struck twice, while Sam Lane and Tom Boon also scored for the Royals. Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Kane Russell, and Sudeep Chirmako netted for HIL GC. Despite multiple lead changes and intense attacking play across all four quarters, the contest remained level.
