Mirra Andreeva underlined her superb form ahead of the Australian Open by winning the Adelaide International title with a commanding 6–3, 6–1 victory over Victoria Mboko.
After falling behind early, the 18-year-old Russian seized control, winning 12 of the final 13 games to seal her first WTA 500 crown and fourth career title. Andreeva showcased her all-round dominance with five breaks of serve and consistent serving throughout the match.
The triumph will lift her to a career-high World No. 7. Despite the loss, Mboko impressed all week and heads to Melbourne at a career-best ranking.
