Hyderabad Toofans produced a magnificent comeback to defeat Ranchi Royals 3–2 in the Men’s Hero Hockey India League (HIL) 2025-26 at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium.
Ranchi took early control through Tom Boon, who struck twice in the first half to give his side a 2–0 lead. Hyderabad responded strongly after the break, with Amandeep Lakra and Nic Woods scoring in quick succession to restore parity.
Momentum stayed with the Toofans, and Talwinder Singh netted a dramatic late winner to complete a thrilling turnaround victory.
