India’s youth boxers created history at the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain, winning four golds, two silvers, and one bronze — the highest medal tally by any Indian discipline and the country’s best-ever youth boxing performance.
India topped the Girls’ Boxing section with 4 golds and 1 silver. Gold medals came from Khushi Chand (46kg), Ahaana Sharma (50kg), Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari (54kg), and Anshika (+80kg), while Harnoor Kaur (66kg) took silver. Among boys, Lanchenba Singh Moibungkhongbam (50kg) earned silver and Anant Deshmukh (66kg) claimed bronze, marking a landmark achievement for Indian boxing on the Asian stage.
