Zimbabwe Beat Bangladesh by Innings and 85 Runs in Harare Test
Zimbabwe completed a comprehensive innings-and-85-run victory over Bangladesh in the one-off Test in Harare.
After dismissing Bangladesh for 140 in the first innings, Zimbabwe piled up 410, powered by Innocent Kaia’s match-winning century. Bangladesh, starting day three at 40/1, were bowled out for 185 despite resistance from Mushfiqur Rahim (34) and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (30). Blessing Muzarabani starred with 4-65, while captain Richard Ngarava claimed 3-32 as Zimbabwe wrapped up the win comfortably.
Player of the Match Kaia credited the team’s hard work and fitness standards, while Shanto admitted Bangladesh failed to adapt to the conditions after arriving from a successful series against Pakistan.
