Yuki Bhambri, Andre Goransson Storm Into Indian Wells Open Doubles Semifinals

India’s Yuki Bhambri and Swedish partner Andre Goransson stormed into the semifinals of the Indian Wells Open with a 6-3, 7-6(2) victory over the Austrian-Italian duo of Alexander Erler and Andrea Vavassori.

The unseeded pair continued their impressive run, reaching Bhambri’s maiden ATP Masters 1000 semifinal without dropping a set in the tournament. Earlier, they defeated Sander Arends and Jiri Lehecka in the Round of 16.

Bhambri, who recently achieved a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 20, will now aim for a place in the final as the duo awaits the winners of the next quarterfinal clash.
