WPL 2026: Wolvaardt Guides DC to Convincing Win Over RCB

Laura Wolvaardt struck an unbeaten 42 as Delhi Capitals ended Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s unbeaten run with a seven-wicket victory in the 2026 Women’s Premier League in Vadodara.

Chasing 110, DC reached 111/3 in 15.4 overs to move second on the points table and boost their net run rate. Shafali Verma’s brisk start set the tone before Sayali Satghare removed her and Lizelle Lee.

Wolvaardt then shared a vital 52-run stand with Jemimah Rodrigues, punishing RCB’s fielding lapses. Marizanne Kapp finished the chase as RCB were comprehensively outplayed.
