Sunrisers Eastern Cape Cruise into Fourth Straight SA20 Final

Sunrisers Eastern Cape booked their place in a fourth successive SA20 Final after cruising past Paarl Royals by seven wickets at Newlands.

Chasing a modest 115, the two-time champions made light work of the target with 50 balls to spare. Young all-rounder James Coles starred, claiming 1/15 with the ball before smashing an unbeaten 45 off 19 deliveries to seal victory. Earlier, Coles and Senuran Muthusamy combined to restrict the Royals to 114/7 despite Kyle Verreynne’s fighting half-century.

The win sets up a repeat of the inaugural SA20 Final against Pretoria Capitals on Sunday.
