WI vs PAK 2nd Test: Justin Greaves’ Unbeaten 64 Lifts West Indies to 239/5 on Rain-Hit Day 1

Justin Greaves struck an unbeaten 64 to guide West Indies to 239/5 at stumps on a rain-affected opening day of the second Test against Pakistan in Trinidad.

Coming in at a crucial stage, Greaves shared important partnerships with Shai Hope (29) and captain Roston Chase (36*) to steady the innings after early setbacks. Brandon King gave the hosts a solid start with 46 before falling to Ali Usman, while Mohammad Ali impressed with the ball for Pakistan. Sajid Khan claimed a wicket but Pakistan captain Babar Azam dropped a straightforward catch to give Greaves a lifeline.

Pakistan’s decision to leave out Mohammad Abbas despite his outstanding performance in the first Test also came under scrutiny after West Indies recovered strongly.
