WI vs PAK 1st Test Day 2: Shan Masood’s Unbeaten 88 Leads Pakistan’s Strong Reply After Mohammad Ali’s Four-Fer

Pakistan fought back brilliantly on Day 2 of the first Test against the West Indies as Shan Masood’s unbeaten 88 guided the visitors to 199/3 in reply to the hosts’ first-innings total of 311 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.

Earlier, Pakistan’s bowlers wrapped up the West Indies innings, with Mohammad Ali claiming 4/50 and Khurram Shahzad striking early to trigger a collapse. Shai Hope narrowly missed out on a century after scoring 92, while Kavem Hodge contributed 84.

Pakistan then dominated with a 155-run second-wicket stand between Masood and Imam-ul-Haq, who made 63. Kemar Roach, Shamar Joseph and Jayden Seales picked up one wicket each as Pakistan finished just 112 runs behind.
