Spinners Shine As Pakistan Crush South Africa By 93 Runs in First Test

Pakistan defeated World Test Champions South Africa by 93 runs in the first Test at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday, taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

Chasing 276, South Africa were bowled out for 183 despite Dewald Brevis (54) and Ryan Rickelton (45) showing resistance. For Pakistan, Noman Ali (4/79) and Sajid Khan spun a web around the visitors before Shaheen Shah Afridi (4/33) wrapped up the innings.

The victory ended South Africa’s record 10-Test winning streak and highlighted Pakistan’s mastery on turning tracks. The second test will decide the series outcome.
