South Africa levelled the five-match T20I series 2-2 with a 19-run win over New Zealand in Wellington. South Africa posted 164/5, powered by Connor Esterhuizen’s 57 off 36 balls.
New Zealand were well placed at 88/3 but collapsed to 145 all out in 18.5 overs. Spinners Keshav Maharaj (2/22) and Prenelan Subrayen (2/13) led the turnaround, while Gerald Coetzee took three wickets.
The series now heads to a decider in Christchurch on Wednesday.
