Simon Harmer Wins ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November

South Africa off-spinner Simon Harmer was named ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November after a match-winning performance in India.

The 36-year-old claimed 17 wickets across two Tests as the Proteas sealed a historic 2-0 series win, their first in India in 25 years. Harmer edged Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam and Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz to claim the honour for the first time. Finishing with 17 wickets at an average of 8.94, Harmer’s efforts also lifted South Africa to second in the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 standings.
